New this year, Walleye, Northern Pike, Pickerel and Tiger Muskellunge will open May 1, 2022, statewide.

Please refer to the NYS Freshwater Fishing Guide for regulations governing minimum keeper size and daily creel limits for each species, paying attention to any special regulations that may be in place for the water body you will be fishing.

Season closes March 15.
